The talented artist Lydia Halloway has released recently her new single Lights Go Out and it is an awesome track. I really like the innovative pop melodies which create a unique soundscape. Moreover, the chorus is as expected very powerful. Furthermore, I also adore the vocals and dynamics!
The lyrics are, just like the sound, impressive. Lydia confidently asserts that she knows her ex-lover is still thinking about her. But in the last line, she breathes into our ear, “that’s what I’m telling myself.” In those few words, she transforms the song into a kind of self-talk, and her confidence is exposed as a method of reassuring her own bruised ego as she watches her ex move on. It’s an all-too-relatable portrait of the inside of her head.

You can say without any doubt that Lydia has crafted some brilliant piece of music, Lights Go Out is a track with character, so be sure to stream it as soon as possible and feel free to sing along!

Do not hesitate and add Lights Go Out to your playlist(s).
