Gold Spectacles has returned today with their new single Stranger Than You and it is such an amazing track. I really like the modern melodies which create innovative musical dimensions. Besides, the vocal performance is grandiose and knows how to capture attention until the last second. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the unique rhythms!
The lyrics, just like the sound, are very impressive. Gold Spectacles explains, ”Stranger Than You is about going against the grain in a world full of normal. As we grow up, we are pressured by society to hide our quirks and our individualities. We are encouraged to follow a set path (go to university, get a normal job, buy a house etc). We wrote this song for the alternative route. It’s ok to not be normal.”
