Today is Monday, the beginning of a new musical week and I want to celebrate that by sharing Lissa Lo’s new single City streets. I adore the jazzy sounds which create a whole new dimension full of quirky melody lines and rhythms. In addition, the vocals are grandiose, Lissa has such a nice timbre in her voice. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the catchy chorus!
The lyrics are, just like the sound, very impressive. Lissa explains, ”The song is a love letter to New York City. It’s inspired by the jazz culture and rich history of the city.”
Lissa has also made awesome visuals for City Streets. The music video offers a little BTS of our recording session.
You can not deny that Lissa has made really good music, City Streets is a track with attitude, so be sure to stream/watch it as soon as possible and feel free to sing along!
