The talented Lexi Mariah is back with her new single Oh Boy and it is an awesome piece of music. I really like the modern melodies. Moreover, Lexi’s vocal performance is sublime, she knows to capture attention until the last note. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the dynamic chorus!
Speaking about the track, Lexi says: ”I feel that Oh Boy is a perfect representation of the kind of electro-pop music I have always wanted to create. It is a sassy, fierce song that basically takes the listener through the story of one of my breakups. While listening, you will understand how this guy made the dumb mistake to cheat on me and he is now begging for me to take him back. Sadly for him, I am so over it and him! There are, however, some emotional points in the song (I mean, who is not at least a LITTLE sad after a breakup?) that I feel will strengthen the connection with the listener. I really speak my mind in Oh Boy and I think it is a diss track that a lot of people will be able to relate to.”
You can say without any doubt that Lexi has made incredibly good music. Oh Boy has all the facets of a global hit, so make sure to stream it as soon as possible and feel free to sing along!
