My Flowers Are Dead is her new single and it sounds awesome. I really like the innovative melodies which create unique ambiances. Besides, the vocal performance is grandiose, CRYSTAL has such a powerful voice. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the dynamic chorus!
Lyrically, CRYSTAL knows to deliver. The track was written at the peak of being torn between romance and career ambitions. “We’ve all compromised for romance, and this track is my experience of that,’’ she explains. “After writing this track, I chose to focus on my music. Too many times I have made decisions based on pleasing other people. But it’s important to do what’s right for you. Putting yourself first isn’t selfish. It can be challenging, but it’s also a super empowering thing to do”.
