It is easy to assume that someone with songs on Spotify equals ”artist”. Ewelina Westin rather calls herself a songwriter that writes, produces and sings some of her own songs from the small island of Gotland. Out comes melodic, piano- or guitar-based pop/folk which originates from nature, childhood, love, reflections and some constant deep melancholy.
Together is Ewelina’s new single and it is such an awesome piece of music. I really like the sublime vocals which sound crystal clear. Besides, the melodies are innovative and showcase inventive techniques. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the unique rhythms!
Speaking about the track, Ewelina comments: ”Together is a song about longing for a like-minded soul, a soulmate who you can run to when you feel sad and alone. Someone who understands.”
You cannot deny that Ewelina has made real art, Together has all the elements of a real modern gem, so make sure to stream it as soon as possible and feel free to sing along!
