Missouri-based artist willoh releases CU, a single from her forthcoming BUCK EP. The song explores the blurry zone between adolescence and adulthood, touching on self-discovery, insecurity, and the temptation to look back at parts of your life that were difficult.
I love the production here. Elusive guitar picking, lo-fi textures, hypnotic beats, and sharp moments of dissonance give CU an unpredictable edge. It gradually builds toward a glitchy breakdown, adding a striking shift in energy toward the end.
