Missouri native willoh has a talent for turning bedroom experiments into something completely infectious, and her new single Buckshot shows this. The song has snowy vocals floating over layers of misfit textures that somehow click perfectly. At just 19, she’s already creating music that feels way beyond her years.
willoh wrote each section of the song while navigating different emotional cycles, moving through guilt, shrinking, losing confidence, blaming, feeling okay, and then not okay again. You can feel this rollercoaster all throughout. There’s simply no sugarcoating, just the messy, real process of grappling with change and self-acceptance.
