Nuria is the stage name of Tasmanian indie pop, singer-songwriter, Anna Maynard. She explores deepest desires, loneliness and the mystery of existence.
Anna Maynard released her debut album Growing Daisies in 2014, which was featured on local and national radio, and she has performed in venues and festivals throughout Australia.
Nuria was born after Maynard took a break from performing, allowing introspection and a deeper sound to emerge.
Following her first single Ache released in August 2019, Enough is the second song to be revealed in the new sound of Nuria.
Enough is a wonderful piece of music. I adore the quirky melodies which showcase many artistic expressions. Moreover, Nuria’s vocals are sublime. She has a very powerful voice. Furthermore, I also like the construction of the chorus and the innovative rhythms!
Lyrically, Nuria knows how to impress. The track touches on the important issue of suicide. She explains: ”Enough is a song that reaches out to a loved one in a dark place and explores the question of what could be enough to hold on. Released on the back of suicide prevention month.”
Enough is a track that needs all the attention. Start streaming it as soon as possible!
Do not hesitate and add Enough to your playlist(s).
You can stream Enough below on Soundcloud or Spotify!
