Stay The Way I Left You is Josie and Dahl’s new single and it sounds amazing. I really like the unique pop melodies which create grandiose landscapes. Besides, the harmonies are sublime. Furthermore, I am also a big fan of the powerful chorus!

There is also made a music video for Stay The Way I Left You. The video follows a young couple through their memories together to ultimately show that when someone is gone and missed from your life, it’s the small and sometime ordinary moments that you miss the most. “I wanted Stay The Way I Left You to paint a really descriptive visual picture with the lyrics,” says Dunne. “When we miss people, it’s always super visual memories that we go back to in our heads. We shot the music video in Nashville on Super 8 film to make a mini- movie of tons of scenes that feel like candid memories.” Trevor Dahl, of the multi-platinum group Cheat Codes, adds that “It’s about one of those situations where even after you go through a break up, you still care about that person and wish the best for them.. but you don’t want them to get over you TOO fast because you’re still miserable, and selfishly hoping they’re missing you back.”
