After spending the first half of 2018 on a soul-searching trip to Australia and Cambodia, Holly Abraham’s solidified her ambient sound and developed her identity as a solo artist. Inspired by musicians such as Novo Amor and Of Monsters and Men, Abraham began working closely alongside Norwegian producer and lead singer of indie-pop duo Firewoodisland – Stian Vedoy.
Landslide is the 3rd single of Abraham’s forthcoming debut EP and it sounds amazing. I really like the husky vocals which create a bright atmosphere. Besides, the instrumental is unique and showcases many artistic expressions. Furthermore, I also adore the uplifting chorus!
Regarding the single, Abraham says: “Landslide is about the beauty that can be found in starting again. When familiar things shift and change, it can often be perceived as a disaster, but Landslide reminds us that sometimes the greatest things in life come from the process of undoing, then rebuilding from the ruin.”
You can say without any doubt that Landslide has all the elements of a modern masterpiece. Be sure to stream it as soon as possible!
