Leah Culver is spanning entertainment genres at a whole new level. She’s cultivating her music in a way that’s breaking the barriers of edm and mainstream pop by using her DJ, producer, singer and songwriting abilities. This is one of many reasons why she has a dynamic presence on social media, in the festival scenes and on the dance floors across the globe.
Leah has released recently her new EP Honest. She says about it: ”The entire project is inspired by and written for a boy I was extremely close to who lost his life to an overdose last year. I wanted this body of work to be the most raw and emotional piece I’ve ever created, and therefore decided against writing anything down or overthinking any production decisions. The Honest EP directly reflects my state of mind following my loss.”
Blue Eyes is a track of Leah’s new EP and it sounds very impressive. I really like the powerful melodies. Besides, Leah’s vocal performance is crystal clear. Furthermore, the lyrics are meaningful!
On the track, Leah says: ”Blue Eyes is a lighter, sweeter portion of the project, reminiscing on times when we would get lost in each other eyes.”
