Slow Down is the first single from Peri El’s upcoming EP Shades of Blue and it sounds amazing. I like the unique guitar riffs. Besides, the vocals are just perfect. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the powerful hooks and jazz elements.

Lyrically, the song is very impressive. The song is about taking charge of your own life and not letting others dictate your path. Peri describes, “After being told at Age 16 I only had one chance, and it was now or never, I wrote this song about my struggle with the industry and how I was always told to do it in other people’s time and never at my own pace. It is at my own pace now.”
