Multilingual singer/songwriter Chloë Black debuts a new era in the form of Who Cares. Currently splitting her time between Los Angeles and London, the Paris raised artist proves as innovative as ever on her first release in over a year.
The new single sounds so good. I am a fan of the crystal clear vocals. Besides, the melodies are unique. Furthermore, I also like the amazing harmonies and impressive lyrics.
On Who Cares Chloë explains that it is both a nihilistic anthem and a “Me Too/Fuck You” moment. “I’ve channeled the pain of my past experiences and abuse into somewhat of a Kill Bill ethos: resilient and not to be fucked with. I hope that my music can aid in the empowerment of others. Regarding nihilism – I have a new philosophy; I spent a lot of time caring about people’s opinions of me and trying to ‘fit in’ to easily digestible labels – but at the end of the day nothing really matters.”
