Faraway Martin just released his brand new single The Lights Turn On, taken from the forthcoming debut EP, slated for release later this year.
The song sounds so good. I like the unique guitar riffs. Besides, the vocals are outstanding. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the uplifting elements and powerful hooks.
Lyrically, the song is very impressive. The Lights Turn represents the different stages of a couples life together, with a poignant ending from the penultimate line ‘the lights turn off’.
Speaking about the track, Martin says: ”I love playing this song live. It’s the type of song that really engages the listener. When I look up after singing the last line of the song, there’s often a few tears in the room. I love making that connection with the people.”
Faraway Martin’s music creates worlds. The Lights Turn deserves all the attention. Start streaming it as soon as possible!
