East London soul pop artist, LIZZI, draws on a myriad of influences from neo-soul to 90s R&B.
She just her brand new single Personal, taken from the forthcoming EP, slated for release soon.
The song is a real gem. I like the strong rhythms. Besides, the hooks are memorable. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the soothing vocals and alternative influences.
Speaking about the track, LIZZI says: ‘‘Personal is about betrayal, it was written after being hurt by the person closest to me. I was looking for answers and resolution, which I eventually got but by then I had worked through everything by myself. Personal is an all female collaboration so writing this felt even more empowering.”
LIZZI is one of a kind, she’s so groundbreaking. Her music showcases her creativity and artistry. Personal deserves all the attention. Start streaming it as soon as possible!
