Nickie Minshall is a 29-year-old Toronto-based solo artist.
She just released her debut single Watch Your Step. It’s an uplifting, warm-you-up indie pop anthem with a singer/songwriter softness.
The song sounds so good. I like the unique melodies. Besides, the vocals are sublime. Furthermore, I am also a fan of the amazing harmonies and solid hooks.
Lyrically, Nickie delivers. Her writing skills are impressive.
Speaking about the track, she says: ”Watch Your Step was inspired by a state of “romantic panic”: a wrestling match between what you should do versus what you want to do, if only inside your own head.”
