HÅN is an ethereal pop artist.
She recently released her new single Jenny!.
The song sounds so good. I like the dreamy textures. Besides, the vocals are sublime. Furthermore, I’m also a fan of the pop-inspired melodies and solid hooks.
Lyrically, HÅN delivers. She has an impressive writing style.
Speaking about the track, the artist says: “It is a tale of inclusion. Jenny flies to a planet where labels don’t exist or don’t really matter. One day the song just materialized in my head. I was thinking a lot about who I was and what I wanted. I started picturing this girl who leaves her world and lands in another one, one she wishes she belonged to. The metaphor of the song kinda refers to themes such as sexuality, class status, gender. I think it’s kinda funny that we use labels for everything. Sometimes I wish they didn’t exist, but I guess that would create chaos. In that planet there’s no chaos.”
HÅN’s music connects with people. She makes real art.
Jenny! deserves 5 stars. It’s a must-hear.
The single anticipates a new EP, that will be released on July 17, a collection of songs about identity and human relationships, introspective tales of self-growth seen through the eyes of wonder and dream.
