1000 Beasts is one of those artists for whom music is both an emotional and a scientific experience. In his debut EP, On A Different Page, the Irish talent delivers what he is all about; collaboration, vibe and creativity.
The EP includes the lead single, Tokyo. It’s a real bop.
1000 Beasts will surprise you. The song features a bassy heavy lo-fi groove, quirky melodies, solid hooks and outstanding vocals.
Tokyo is the second collaboration between 1000 Beasts and Irish born London based artist, Kayleigh Noble.
“We both knew that with our first track together, Le Marais, we had a great piece and it was a no brainer to continue collabing, so I developed the Tokyo track in the second half of 2019, knowing I’d love something with that feel on the EP and after two writing/recording sessions, the whole thing came together very quickly”
The video has an awesome retro aesthetic to it.
1000 Beasts’ music creates an atmosphere. Tokyo deserves 5 stars.
