Canadian singer-songwriter Zèra returns with brand new single Honneur. Melodious vocals flow over a modern R&B production that’s creative. The lyrics shine throughout the song, characterized by storytelling. It’s very empowering.
Zèra explains: ”Honneur is a reflection of the detrimental effect that honour culture puts on second generation middle eastern women. It represents the fatigue that one feels after being stuck in the middle of a war between a domineering patriarchal mindset and personal happiness and feminine freedom.”
