Rachel Siegel unveils second single Dancing by Myself. This is an uplifting pop song, it motivates and inspires. Bright vocals are blended well with catchy melodies, unique in sound. The lyrics reflect character, full of quotable sentences. The music video captures the story perfectly.
About the track, Siegel said: ”Dancing by Myself is about moving forward. I sat down on Valentine’s Day 2018 and started writing about how I couldn’t waste more time waiting around for someone who didn’t actually want me. There’s so much freedom in choosing yourself and I had to find a way to get back to that. Fast forward to 2020, the world stood still, and I had to find a way to keep moving forward. I called Elliott Marchent (my producer) and said, again, “I’m done waiting around.” Elliott and I produced Dancing by Myself remotely, completely over zoom and finally, it’s here.”
