Two days ago, Borito dropped their debut album What we Have Now, which has been independently produced by band members Yael Copeland and Shahar Levi. The record closes with the song Sugar. It’s a bit dreamy, combining elements of Lo-fi Rock, Indie Rock, and Indie Pop. Truly authentic, full of creativity. Nostalgic in tone, borito’s music send you back to your summer vacation.

Lead singer Yael wrote Sugar. It talks about sweet and bitter memories from a previous relationship that was formed in a summer camp. When you look back, all this little moments and words stay in your head and Yael made a montaje out of them. A night under the stars, the first I love you, sneaking around. The album is all about bringing back innocence, the freedom of loving, living and creating without the obligations and disappointments of adulthood.

Travel through a colorful universe, built by Borito. Ready to enter the spaceship? Listen to Sugar below!
