Kya Kyani is from Amsterdam and lives in Berlin now. She shares Party Underground, taken from her debut EP The Dao, out now. Crisp vocals flow over a production, which features solid melodies and a soulful beat. Kyani brings a unique sound to the scene, fusing elements of neo soul, alternative and trippy pop music. Black Prez raps a verse on Party Underground, great delivery.
Speaking about the meaning behind track, Kyani said: ”Overthinking the way to hit on someone I really like. I come across as rough and rebellious, which I actually really am for the bigger part. But when it comes to love I get really shy. Therefore it also does not matter which sex.”
