Redbud is a musical trio based in Austin, TX, featuring Katie Claghorn on guitar and vocals, Sam Graf on drums, and Ryan Black on bass. Their new single, Opal, has just been released. Despite being dreamy, it still sounds very melodious. Your attention will be immediately captured. By writing thoughtful lyrics, Redbud demonstrates the band’s ability to create music that’s relatable and relevant.
Katie comments: I wrote this song when I was experiencing a quarantine-induced existential crisis. She adds: I definitely love the lo-fi sound and am new to mixing. My dad and I mixed Opal together in a grassroots effort.”
