A singer-songwriter based in NYC, Mackenzie Shrieve, just released her latest single, Running & Hiding. Authentic folk vocals in combination with layered percussion, keys, and synths creates such an excellent soundscape. The mastering has been done flawlessly. Every element is as crisp as possible. This chorus will appeal to many people, because it’s catchy. Lyrically, Running & Hiding talks about the beginning stages of chasing after someone you really like.
The official music video for Running & Hiding was directed by Chris Cranston (Christian Leave, Ellise, LoveLeo). Shot at Lake Tahoe and Fallen Leaf Lake, where Shrieve spent childhood summers at camp.
