British singer-songwriter Sarah Johnsone releases debut single, Tonight. A mellow atmosphere is created by the guitar in this track. The vocals throughout the whole piece have a great, soulful quality to them. Lyrics are carefully crafted, and they connect easily with listeners. Tonight speaks of yearning, being apart from someone and to an extent, unrequited love.
Sarah comments: “Having the world suddenly freeze gave me this strange surplus of time to really assess the emotions I was going through in life at the time, and I found song writing was a therapeutic way to do that”.
