Pop starlet meets girl-next-door in rising independent artist Brooke Alexx makes inventive pop music. With Housewife, from her new sophomore album Dream Girl, she delivers as usual. Its punchy production works, and the vocals alongside it are simply perfect.
Housewife talks about refusing to follow the life path everyone else seems to expect. The lyrics push back against the pressure to settle down, get married, and build the picture-perfect suburban life, questioning whether a white picket fence, designer clothes, and a man who “checks all the boxes” really add up to happiness.
Housewife belongs on your playlist. Check it out below!
