Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Eliza Edens shares Death Drive, the title track from her new record. Inspired by Freud’s concept of the death drive, the song looks at reckless impulses and a series of moments that bring her face-to-face with mortality, from childhood ski accidents to digital breakups and her mother’s experience with dementia.
