Singer-songwriter Barbara Teresa shares her third single, just this one time. It provides originality with its poetic lyrics and sweet acoustic sounds. The vocals are also worth noting, because they are so crisp. Barbara drew inspiration from artists like Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lizzy McAlpine.
The unfeigned track is a confessional which exposes her deep emotions and true intentions to a friend (and one-time engagement) who doesn’t share the same feelings as her. She ultimately makes peace with the fact that she’d rather have this person one night than never, regardless of the hurt that it may cause her.
