Auckland based industrial ‘goth’ pop artist VÏKÆ shares new single, Sinking. Her sound reflects her own unique style. The verses are more calm, but the chorus provides energy and Future Bass elements. There’s a great deal of balance here, making each section feel really varied. In particular, the outro is worth mentioning.
Regarding the track, VÏKÆ comments: ”Sinking explores the ideology of using a bad situation in order to cleanse your soul from the sadness and heartache; in a way where you can put on your PJs and dance in the mirror singing into a hairbrush.”
