In December, LA-based artist Foxanne released her long-awaited full-length debut record, It’s real (I knew it). All 13 songs on this project are excellent. I’d like to highlight Sea Blue today. Music is mellow, and vocals take center stage. Foxanne delivers an exceptional performance. Because of their thoughtfulness and poetic quality, her lyrics will appeal to a large audience.
Foxanne’s intimate, vocal-driven brand of indie-pop is coupled by a backbone of rock-tinged sensibilities, taking her craft to heights matched only by the cosmos she explores during the day as a science communicator.
It can be said that authenticity is one of the album’s strongest points. Sea Blue offers something totally new. See below!
