Shelly Peled is an upcoming singer-songwriter based in Tel Aviv. Last week, she shared Surrender. By expressing its melancholy, this music evokes a dark atmosphere. The blend of compelling instrumentals and crisp, rich vocals works well. I find the chorus to be masterfully arranged.
In her new song, Shelly Peled surrenders. She knows her relationship is toxic, yet it feels too good to let go. Like in every toxic relationship, she feels she has no choice but to stay – the addiction is too hard.
