Streetlights is the final track on SERENA’s debut EP, Welcome to Wasteland. It begins with a mysterious intro, followed by a crisp instrumental that carries freshness. An infectious melody and a soaring vocal complement each other nicely. Also worth mentioning are the brilliant drum beats.
This song has poetic lyrics. Streetlights narrates the journey home from a night out in the city among broken expectations and self-realisation. Fantastically written ballad that provides originality. Take a listen below!
