Emmrose is a singer-songwriter who has already put out a lot of excellent music. Afterlife, produced by Richard Orofino, draws inspiration from genres such as Dark Pop. Its synth-driven sound will keep listeners enthralled. In contrast to the verses, the chorus becomes more dynamic.
Afterlife talks about an unhealthy supernatural relationship. Emmrose says: ”As far as I’m aware, Richard and I are not vampires or witches, so the song was not really taken from our lives. Though the lyrics were mostly inspired by a toxic relationship, we were both really thinking about the context of the TV show and other supernatural romance examples.”
Emmrose blended some authentic ideas together, making Afterlife a truly timeless record. Check out the audio below!
