morgen is a 16-year-old bedroom pop newcomer who released her debut single, Odd One Out, today. The melodic elements make it easy to hum along. The production, inspired by Lennon Stella and Sasha Sloan, leaves a lasting impression. Doleful synths and hypnotic percussion are prominent. morgen’s vocals convey the lyrics effectively. It’s a song of self-empowerment, you could say.
morgen says: “Odd One Out is a song about being different from everyone around you and feeling like you don’t totally fit in anywhere.”
I think morgen’s music will receive a lot of praise. She keeps it real by staying true to herself. Check out Odd One Out below!
