Hadley Kennary is an American singer and songwriter. I enjoy her latest single, Possession of Pain, which features refreshing pop textures. The music conveys both moments of euphoria and a sense of melancholy.
The lyrics of this song are powerful. Drawing on the acoustic songwriter pop she was raised on, Hadley dives into the cathartic release that comes from allowing ourselves to feel pain, whether grief, sorrow, change, or anything in between, in whatever way we need so we can heal.
