ELDR is the moniker of London-based artist & award-winning composer Marine Elderton. She does something totally different, so it’s challenging to categorize her style. Defender begins with an ethereal intro that lays the groundwork for what follows. Over driving rhythms, a unique guitar line soars. ELDR provides expression vocally.
Defender talks about the fierce force of love, and the vulnerabilities we all try to hide. Lyrics like, ”Those demons on your back, you think that I don’t see”, effectively emphasize the theme.
