American singer songwriter Sini reveals her new single, Maybe Red. While mainly focused on its message, the track features experimental elements that show its creative approach. Sini’s strong vocals bring the powerful lyrics to life. There is a clear contrast in the production between the verses and the chorus, with the music shifting from melodic moments to a more dynamic sound.
Sini explains: “Maybe Red was written in the midst of this pandemic. Dealing with depression and an existential void that seemed ever growing, all I could do was “let it end”. As I repeat that in the song, I’m reminding myself that this pain won’t be forever. That there is no love outside of myself that could fix me.”
