American singer-songwriter Sini reveals her new single, Maybe Red. While mainly accessible , it also features some experimental aspects, showing its innovative spirit. Strong vocals are Sini’s key to conveying such strong lyrics. There’s a noticeable difference in production style between the verses and the chorus. The music changes from melodious to really dynamic.
Sini explains: “Maybe Red was written in the midst of this pandemic. Dealing with depression and an existential void that seemed ever growing, all I could do was “let it end”. As I repeat that in the song, I’m reminding myself that this pain won’t be forever. That there is no love outside of myself that could fix me.”
