Bronwyn is an Oxford-raised artist who makes music categorized as acoustic soul with jazzy embellishments. In Free, you’re swept away into a dreamy state by the mellow atmosphere. Original instrumentation goes nicely with the vocal performance, boosting the song’s appeal.
Bronwyn says: ”I wrote Free whilst it was lockdown in the UK last year. The lyrics are kind of like an open diary entry for everyone to hear which is scary. I was writing all my addictions and bad traits to remind myself that life passes by and to cut that tie of emotional baggage and it will feel like relief.”
Bronwyn’s second effort impresses. She produced and recorded the tune herself at home, revealing her incredible technical capabilities. Free serves as the beginning of many great releases ahead. Check out the audio below!
