Stacey Kelleher shares songs that make one thing clear: she’s still trying to figure out life, and that’s okay. The quirky pop production of her latest single, Thing of the Past, perfectly represents her musical style. On the horizon, we have cool instrumentation, functioning as a driving force. Especially infectious are the guitar tones, which, along with the rhythm, soar a little.
Thing of the Past talks about the ill-fated timing of a star-crossed relationship. It was written during COVID via Zoom. I think the lyrics will appeal broadly, leading the song to greater success.
