Derik Baker, aka Virginia to Vegas, is an American-born Canadian singer-songwriter. He grew his international following last year, collaborating with blackbear and DVBBS on the single IDWK.
Virginia to Vegas now debuts, this sucks., a song about seeing someone who broke your heart, with dreamy guitar licks and powerful lyrics. It features MacKenzie Porter, whose vocals mesh well with those of Baker. By joining forces, they achieve an engaging tone. The chorus’ electronic-influenced style will keep listeners spellbound.
