Melbourne, a dreamy indie folk song, is marked by fingerpicking guitar and hypnotic fiddle. In addition, it comes with synthesizers that create an ambient environment. The sound can sometimes be melancholic, however, there’s also a blinding brightness to contrast it. Melanie’s vocals sound airy, but they accentuate the lyrics well.
