During lockdown 1 and 2.0, vinnyrn released a few singles to find his sound. The Melbourne-based producer’s current style combines his teenaged years experience in EDM production with his roots in rock and guitar oriented music in order to create expansive ambient soundscapes, similar to those of Radiohead, Kenneth Whalum, and Jordan Rakei. On October 1st, vinnyrn unveiled a self-produced debut EP, titled Ways out.
As its quality is so impressive, you’ll be blown away by Leave It To Me. It captures the essence of emotion wonderfully. A dynamic vocal performance brings each word forth in just the right way.
When speaking about the track, vinnyrn says: ”I wrote the lyrics about that selfish thought we might sometimes get when performing acts of kindness without recognition, sometimes we might even for a second wish we could be recognized for our work, even though the work it self should be fulfilling enough.”
