Elbury are a five-piece alternative-folk act from Brisbane who recently shared their new single, Passport. Lush synth lines and strong vocals accompany shimmering guitar melodies. Together, they create a mystical atmosphere that makes the listener feel immersed in it. However, near the end of the song, the sound becomes really uplifting. I like that change, because it makes things interesting.
This song reflects the feeling we have when we try to relive past moments. The more you realize how much has changed, the more you realize that it can’t be changed back. Passport explores this topic further. Check out the audio below!
