AnnaLina is a Sydney-based artist who gets her inspiration from London’s UK soul and RnB (Joy Crookes, NAO, Arlo Parks). She established herself as an artist to watch in the Sydney music scene when she debuted in late 2020 with the single It’s Seasonal.
Took It Further (Feelin’ Fine) is marked by organic, soulful instrumentation. Layered vocals are everywhere, adding even more melodic flair to the production. A majestic bridge sets the stage for the final act.
AnnaLina wrote Took It Further (Feelin’ Fine) as a remembrance of her youth, when she was self-confident and bold in her relationships. This song’s pensive verses tell a story about losing yourself in long-term relationships, while the chorus contrasts that with the fantasy of getting out of that stagnant state and reconnecting with yourself.
