Marian Crole is an Anglo-Uruguayan-Swiss singer and songwriter influenced by the beauty of life, nature, and people. Kinds of Love, her new single, features some lovely instrumental elements. For example, I’m fascinated by the guitar playing in it. Additionally, Indo-Swiss musician Baiju Bhatt provides interesting violin work. Bright vocals convey the lyrics in an appealing manner.
In French there’s a saying: “les gens qu’on aime, on ne les rencontre pas, on les reconnaît”, meaning: “those we love, we don’t meet, we recognize”. The term refers to encounters in which we feel we’ve known the other person for ever. Marian Crole wrote Kinds of love out of this feeling. The feeling that you carry the other person inside, even if you’ve never met them.
