The ocals stand out for their clarity and flow. I like the tone of them, because they bring you back to reality briefly. The lyrics are an enticing combination of thought and wisdom.
Maddie says about the song: ”’lilie was born from the lyric ‘I’m sorry that I’m not you, I’m sorry that I am.’ It’s the exhaustion that comes from wishing you didn’t exist, the daydream of a wake and lilies that will lay you, finally, to rest.”
