Leah Humphrey creates folk-influenced pop songs that are unique in their style and tone. My favorite thing about her new single, keep spinning, is its astonishing quality. It not only offers interesting instrumentation, but it also reveals aspects of her particular musical identity. When you listen closely to the lyrics, you’ll notice that there’s a lot of effort put into them.
When speaking about the track, Leah says: ”keep spinning refers to how it’s fun when you’re on a spinny ride but then you get off and you feel kinda sick. It’s about avoiding that feeling.”
