Especially in this day and age where covers of pop songs are often criticized for straying too far from the original, Catt McCreary’s acoustic piano cover of Love Yourself is a refreshing change of pace. The adaptation stays true to the source material, but with some subtle changes here and there. It’s sincere, authentic and soulful, and Cat’s performance is nothing short of breathtaking.
