Peyton Marie had a bad friend breakup that left her feeling really bitter at first. “How could she do this to me?” she thought. “We were supposed to be friends forever!” But as Peyton started to reflect on the friendship, she realized that it was actually quite toxic. The more she thought about it, the more she became confident that she was better off without that person in her life. And so, Peyton picked herself up and started writing. The result was her new single, growing pains.
